Bug#45121: dpkg: No option to rebuild /usr from /var/state
Subject: dpkg: No option to rebuild /usr from /var/state
Package: dpkg
Version: 1.4.0.33
Hi!
In a case when /usr is lost but /var/state has been preserved, I feel
that all information needed to rebuild /usr is available. There should
be an option for dpkg to re-install all packages that are known to be
installed on this system.
Greetings
Marc
