Bug#32427: Illogical order chosen
Package: dpkg
Version: 1.4.1
Severity: wishlist
I would suggest that we change the phrasing of the "Preparing to replace ..."
line, which for now looks like:
Preparing to replace libaudiofile0 0.1.5-3 (using libaudiofile0_0.1.5-4.deb)
As you can see, the new file (the "important" one) is in parenthesis, while
the "non-important" info (the version being removed) appears clearly.
This is counter-intuitive, and the eyes will see the old version first.
