package: release-notes

I am sure i must be missing something, but i couldnt see anywhere in
the release notes does it explain what the sources.list for security
updates should be.

i was expecting this to be mentioned in one of

https://www.debian.org/releases/bookworm/amd64/release-notes/ch-whats-new.en.html#archive-areas

https://www.debian.org/releases/bookworm/amd64/release-notes/ch-whats-new.en.html#archive-areas
--- i found this whole subsection pretty cryptic tbh, "You should
make sure the package database is ready before proceeding with the
upgrade." makes it sound like the user needs to a do something, but
the text doesnt say what. I think this could be much shorter, and
instead of talking about 'databases' just say to open the other
package manager(s) and check there are no pending actions, assuming
that is what it wants me to do

https://www.debian.org/releases/bookworm/amd64/release-notes/ch-upgrading.en.html#upgrade-process

the last one mentions subscribing to the mailing list but doesnt
actually remind anyone to add the security archive area (or remind me
what the syntax is - i assume it's the same as previous releases, but
i remember it changed at least once and was expecting a reminder)

https://salsa.debian.org/ddp-team/release-notes/-/merge_requests/289
was merged, and now shows the correct apt sources config in the
release-notes.

If other things should be mentioned in the release-notes, please
open new bugs.

Best,
Chris
