Looking at https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1090384#17
it seems the solution for trixie is for users to install the lxpolkit
package (and possibly "add [something[ to the startup")
If that doesnt make it into the trixie xfce package in some form then
documenting a workaround in release-notes seems like a good idea .
The key point here is "add [something] to the startup".
When installed, lxpolkit does not appear in
Settings -> Settings Manager -> "Session and Startup"
so cannot be added to startup, via the usual route.
The problem is the line
NotShowIn=GNOME;KDE;MATE;LXQt;XFCE;Unity;X-Cinnamon;
which specifically blocks lxpolkit from appearing in Xfce settings tab.
Hopefully you get a sponsor for your alternative for forky
Thanks. Its in NEW now! I'll try for an unblock.

Peter
