one aspect I forgot to mention: being subscribed to the the wiki pages in question,
so one gets notifications about changes via mail, and reviewing those.

(the tooling also allows to review the git diffs once/each time the wiki is
transferred to git, but in practive I have always done the review once there
was a wiki edit, also because that is closer in time to the actual edit.)
