Sorry it took so long to reply.

Since I acknowledged the text that suggests usrmerge, I've started to
realize more and more that Debian doesn't know yet how to accomplish
merged-/usr. So instead of adding the warnings Guillem suggested, I
think it's best to drop the usrmerge suggestion.

Maybe instead of (bug #985502):
           Support for the non-merged-usr layout will be dropped
           after Debian bullseye, so all users are doomed. DOOMED!
we can add something like:
"The Debian project is still deciding how to do this and how to migrate
existing systems as the proper solution isn't known yet." Yes, highly
frustrating, but it is reality.
