1. Only fcitx5 supports wayland.
2. Old fcitx 4 is  in maintenance mode by upstream, but it just works
and without bugs. And we haven't finished packaging fcitx5 plugins for
all the languages, still lacking some languages support which are
available in fcitx4.

After discussion with other Chinese DD, we have prepared a patch to
replace fcitx with fcitx5 in tasksel. It has been merged and pending
upload by tasksel maintainer.

Sorry that change is late in the release cycle. We haven't decided to
change the tasksel only until recently. Fcitx5 has its first stable
release on 2020-11. So it needs some thorough tests to decide.
