package: release-notes severity: wishlist kfreebsd's release notes say to boot with rescue/enable=true, but it isn't clear how to do that. The kfreebsd FAQ is clearer, adding "set kFreeBSD.rescue/enable=true" to the grub boot commands will do the trick. Best wishes, Mike

tags -1 - buster stretch thanks Hi Michael, On Mon, 8 Jun 2015 21:39:19 -0400 Michael Gilbert <mgilbert@debian.org> wrote: > kfreebsd's release notes say to boot with rescue/enable=true, but it > isn't clear how to do that. This phrase isn't in the release notes anymore (neither buster, nor stretch). I didn't do archaeology, but I guess because kfreebsd isn't a release architecture. Therefore, I close this bug. If you still think we should add something along those lines, don't hesitate to come back, but please provide literal text that can be included, or better, a merge request on Salsa: https://salsa.debian.org/ddp-team/release-notes/ PaulAttachment: signature.asc
