Hi,

please consider inserting the attached dbk snippet to release notes (since
I do not know your preference for a sequence I do not submit a patch).

PS: I tried to submit a (slightly similar) bug report five hours ago but
    this never arrived in Git while a report about Debian GIS arrived
    right after filing it.  So I suspect something might have went wrong.
    If there might show up another bug about this issue forget this please.

I am afraid this never made it to the release notes. But the jessie ship
has sailed a long time ago, so I close this bug. If you want something
in the buster release-notes, please file a new bug or create a MR
against the release-notes git archive on salsa:

https://salsa.debian.org/ddp-team/release-notes/
