No, be careful: in some places &releasename; means the literal string
used in APT sources-list files.
The real question is why French gets to use capitalised releasenames
if English doesn't - after all, if the idea is that "stretch" is a
product-name then it should be universally lowercase even in German
(cf. "iPad").
My preferred solution would be to switch over to calling it
"Stretch" even in English, but probably not a week before release.
