in the section 5.1 (Potential problems) of the release notes.

Problems upgrading fonts

The version of fontconfig released with lenny might cause some problems
upgrading a font package or reconfiguring the fontconfig package, this
is triggered particularly when using "apt-get upgrade".

The problem can be resolved by upgrading the other parts of fontconfig
(libfontconfig1 and fontconfig-config) to the latest versions.
