Hello,

Recently the default system log daemon was switched from sysklogd+klogd
to rsyslog[1].

I think that this is worth mentioning in the release-notes, even though
it doesn't affect upgrades to lenny but only fresh new installs.

I don't know current practice regarding the documentation of changes of
Debians defaults, but personally I'd prefer to have such changes
documented somewhere at a central place, so I can follow Debians best
practice if I want.
And I don't know any better place than release notes for changes
related to new releases.

greetings
 jonas

Closing Lenny release-notes pending bugs, since the relevant patches have been
commited to SVN trunk and are published on line at
http://debian.org/releases/lenny/releasenotes

Sorry for the mass mail.
