Hi,

When upgrading from sarge to etch, I noticed that X didn't start
anymore.  I think it failed to find my mouse as /dev/input/mice or
something.  I think the problem was that udev didn't start with the
2.6.8 kernel because it needed a >= 2.6.15 kernel, and booting with
2.6.18 solved that.

There might be other things that break if udev was running before and
now not anymore.
