Hi Enrico,
I don't think anyone disagrees although there's not been discussion in
either direction..
I note that this is present in the web version:
http://www.us.debian.org/doc/manuals/developers-reference/ch-best-pkging-practices.en.html#s-bpp-dbg
which annotates that it is 3.3.9 although that isn't actually present
in the archive afaict.
