Translation of Sarge Release notes and Installation manual to Dutch

Hello,

I'd like to take a shot at translating the Release Notes and Installation 
manual for Sarge.
With the new Debian Installer and the maturity of desktop environments 
(especially KDE) I think having a Dutch translation is becoming more 
important.
I would like to focus on i386 at first as that is the only platform I am 
really familiar with.

I have already contacted debian-l10n-dutch@lists.debian.org and they said 
nobody is working on a Dutch translation yet.

I am not a DD. How do I get started?
