I went to your HOW-TOs but the link for the promise driver is dead. I searched the (7) CDs but there is no promise driver. Promise doesn't make a driver for Debian. So do you know of any websites that have a copy of this driver.

I don't have happy memories of Promise cards. Are you sure you want to use it?

Anyway, it seems that things have moved on since that link was written. I think that you can use the pcdraid or ataraid drivers with some Promise devices. ataraid seems to be on the CDs, in the bf24 kernel. The message archived at http://groups.google.co.uk/groups?selm=20030123183015%245f00%40gated-at.bofh.it may help. You probably also should ask somewhere like debian-user for help.

The only problem is that I hate Windows and that's what redhat has become a clone. So if you can't help I just have to keep looking. Is there a website for BEOS?

Please do not threaten us. That does not encourage people to try to help you.
