Command Selection Howto
Please find the draft of the new Command Selection Howto available for
your review and comment at [http://home.velocitus.net/b_tk/cmdsel.txt].
The Howto's preamble best explains what the Command Selection Howto is
about:
A modern GNU/Linux system has hundreds or even daunting
thousands of available commands. This Howto introduces,
categorizes and organizes the commands which seem to the author
most significant and common. If you know what you want your
computer to do, but do not yet know the right command to give,
you can find the command here.
While the Howto is written to be useful to all GNU/Linux users, Debian
is its reference platform.
I will unfortunately be out of e-mail contact during the coming
several weeks. Nevertheless, please e-mail comments on the draft
to <t@b-tk.org>.
