I think we may be at 2.5 (Between 2 and 3).

With Makefile I have, it does create all file types (PDF, PS, TEXT, HTML
) and possibly 1 long HTML page.  Problem I caused was nothing to do
with PDF file creation.  It was tar without a source file :(

I expanded the trick Adam di Carlo uses for boot floppiy and works
nicely on woody.

We do have a problem of "debiandoc2pdf etc. does not work" but there is
well established workaround.
