Somewhere I saw a way to bind `Ctrl-Alt-End' to halt the computer.
It may have used `kbrequest', I'm not sure. I'd say that's not as
useful as:
/etc/inttab has:
# Action on special keypress (ALT-UpArrow).
kb::kbrequest:/bin/open -su
... and /etc/kbd/default.map contains:
alt keycode 103 = Spawn_Console
... of course, the `open' package is installed.
