This library provides a backport of the eval_type function from the
 standard library's typing module. It is particularly useful for
 maintaining compatibility in projects that use PEP 585 and PEP 604
 type hints but need to support Python versions older than 3.10.
 .
 This package is a dependency for 'wandb' (Weights & Biases),
 which I am also planning to package for Debian.
 .
 I plan to maintain this within the Debian Python Team.
