Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: Jakub Głogowski <not@dzwdz.net>
X-Debbugs-Cc: debian-devel@lists.debian.org, team+vim@tracker.debian.org

* Package name    : vim-vinegar
  Version         : 1.0
  Upstream Contact: Tim Pope <tpope@tpope.net>
* URL             : https://tpope.io/vim/vinegar.git
* License         : Vim
  Programming Lang: Vimscript
  Description : enhancements for netrw, Vim's builtin file browser

If you're a Vim user you probably already know tpope.

IMO the most important feature of this plugin is the binding to open up
netrw pointing right at the file you were editing, which is surprisingly
useful. It also adds some other bindings to netrw that are occasionally
useful too (for e.g. quickly running cli utilities on selected files, or
copying paths).

I'm planning to maintain this package under the Vim team - we already
briefly discussed this on IRC and they're willing to sponsor this :)
