I agree that the longest time is important, not for the overall
distribution but it has created some extra work for me.

In parolottero (a word game) I've had to split the package and
implement a GUI so that users can download data files externally from
debian because getting them into debian proved to be so difficult.

The current version in stable needs to download externally because the
packages with the data files are not available.

To be entirely open, the data files were rejected a few times, to the
point that I dropped the american word list to move to the english one
just because of the better license on that one.
