Re: Try Debusine for your next upload to unstable!

Hi Preuße, (2025.09.14_11:20:40_+0000)
I had a look at [1]. As my client is > 0.10.0 I used the automatic installation, which seemed to work fine, at least I can create work requests.

Glad to hear you got set up so easily.

The test mentioned on the page below however fails. Is it expected work?

I assume this is the noop work request test. That should pass.

debian-devel is probably not the place to figure out what's going on there, please file an issue against debusine [0] with more details, or visit us in #debusine on IRC / Matrix [1]

For my package the build failed:

<snip>
See tp/tests/test-suite.log for debugging.
Some test(s) failed. Please report this to xxx@yyy.zz,
together with the test-suite.log file (gzipped) and your system
information.  Thanks.
<snip>

Is that file still available and if yes, where I can I download it?

That sounds like a file created in the working directory by the upstream package's test suite. That's not typically going to be available after a build. If you're a package maintainer, you should usually try to get all the debugging information you need dumped into the build log (without making it enormous).

Debusine doesn't give you any way to get files out of the build, yet. We do have ideas to implement something to help here, but it's not curently on the roadmap. [2]
