There is one thing so nice about Debian that you never cease to learn. I always (and wrongly) thought that foo-updates would be directly what people upload through foo-proposed-updates. I was not aware that the contents of foo-updates was also curated by the Release Team and though always said "no" to the respective question in the Installer.
