Description : Allow Python code to extend built-in types
This package allows Python code to patch built-in objects declared in C.
It can be used for various purposes such as writing assertion libraries,
spying on the behaviour of objects, or profiling.
I admit I'm a little scared about ending up responsible for debugging
this pile of ctypes code ... but it's a dependency of python-blockbuster
(https://bugs.debian.org/1110998), which is a dependency of
python-anyio, which is a dependency of all sorts of interesting things,
so I guess I'll have a go. I'll maintain it within the Debian Python
Team.
