Re: slow down! (was Re: Bug#1111158: python-sudoku - Python package that generates and solves m x n Sudoku puzzles)

Fvs has no problem.

https://mentors.debian.net/package/fvs/

For most of them I was told to put the Debian dir license as expat because it is the same as the upstream code license but GPL-3+ has no problem with expat.

MIT is a rubish license.

That package is in the NEW queue and could be rejected by FTPMasters if there are any issues. Your package isn’t in Debian unless it’s in unstable :)

No they are not ready unless your sponsor tells they are.  Your work needs a lot of improvement. I had to close 2 of your duplicate ITPs today.

You should slow down, take your time and learn about the entire debian packaging process and the tools including DFSG guidelines to get what I meant by license conflict in the email you sent me. Join #debian-mentors on oftc and ask your questions.

many people including me have already pointed out and told you to learn how to use the bug reporting system but you still open multiple ITPs when they can be just renamed using bts.

You should take a break and check up on the work that you’ve done recently and check if it’s actually worth sponsoring.

Quality > Quantity
