We already do "If no branch is specified, the packaging should be on the default branch" but we're only human https://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-controlfields.html#s-f-vcs-fields

I'm going to have to disagree with this part, the whole point of DEP14 is that our debianisms are namespaced, so there's no harm in pushing all branches.
