Description : Masm compatible assembler
Asmc is a x86 Assembler that supports complex Masm macro syntax.
Asmc is written in its masm syntax, so it can't be build in Debian box.
asmc-linux has same functionality from Asmc, but its written in GNU
assembler. So, asmc-linux can be build in Debian box.
asmc-linux is needed to build 7zip.
7zip can be use hand-optimized assembler code for faster operations.
Some users wants to use assembler code for that.

asmc-linux will use for 7zip build, so 7zip maintainer (me and
other members) might maintain it.
I'm a Debian maintainer, and I can't upload the package myself.
So I also want mentor/sponsor for upload.
Current state of my asmc-linux packaging can be examine from here.
