   This library implements the Serial Line Internet Protocol (SLIP),
   a simple protocol for encapsulating packets within a streaming transport
   protocol such as TCP/IP or on the serial port.

   You will need this if you plan to transmit e.g. OSC messages via TCP/IP or
   the serial line.


There's already a pd-slip binary package in Debian (from src:pd-mrpeach).
Upstream has factored out the pd-slip part into a separate project, and
I would therefore like to track this in a separate source package.

I intend to maintain this under the multimedia-team umbrella.
