As the X13 Yoga G2is part of the Lenovo Linux certified problem I might
be able to help you with this. Admittedly if this is Debian specific I'm
going to be a bit more limited in what I can do - but if you can send me
details on what touchpad FW you are using I'll see if we can reproduce
and I think I have an X13 G2 and will happily install Debian on it to
see if I can reproduce the issue once I have more details.
Normally touchpad issues tend to be the same distro to distro. Right now
I'm digging into some issues we've had around Elan trackpoint with
Synaptics touchpad - but that doesn't seem the same as you are seeing.
I'm not sure if it's rude or not (apologies Debian community if it is,
my intent is to share a resource not to shill), but I'll flag the lenovo
Linux forums
(https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Linux-Operating-Systems/ct-p/lx_en) as
another resource for Lenovo specific issues - we try and support any OS,
not just the ones we certify. We have a fairly active community and
others may have seen the same, and myself and some of the Lenovo team do
lurk on there and try to help where we can.
If you can send me your kernel logs and any specific steps to reproduce
that would help (probably best off list). I'll see what I can find.
I'm afraid I'm not on the Debian IRC (too many different chat tools in
my life to have even more :)) so do try there and you hopefully get some
Debian specific answers.
