Description : Eternal Terminal (ET) is a remote shell that automatically reconnects without interrupting the session.

Eternal Terminal (ET) is a remote shell that automatically reconnects without interrupting the session.

ET is used by tens of thousands of developers worldwide as a replacement for ssh in cases where people expect network disruption, such as when developing on a laptop or with unreliable Internet.

ET is already in Fedora and other package managers. I maintain it myself and have automated much of the release process using docker and vagrant. FreeBSD, OpenSUSE, and some other flavors are maintained by others.
