Dear Maintainer,

I can only boot into Debian if I use the option acpi=off; this is from a fresh install. Using acpi=ht also fails to boot.

>From other discussions on the Internet it appears the Envy 13
hardware/firmware generally doesn't support non-Windows OS, and a
lot of hacks are required to make stuff work at all.

I don't consider this a bug in Debian, even if Debian or various
components can add workarounds to improve the situation. If
motivated Envy 13 owners can help with this, please coordinate the
work on the relevant upstream channels.

For now, I'm closing this bug as there won't be much we can do on
the Debian side.
