  Description     : Translation of git manpages to languages other than English

This package includes the translations of Git manpages so far. Main
languages include some pages in German, Brazilian Portugese, French,
Russian, Chinese.

Providing git in localized version is a good step for general adoption
of the tool. But as of now, if one needs to refer to the manual pages,
they are still confronted to english. The aim is to provide
documentation to users in their own language.

I'm the main maintainer of the upstream repo and I take care of
publishing the manpages to git-scm.com. I plan to update the package
as manpages are translated, based on updates from original content and
progress on translations.
