Description : Matrix Algebra on GPU and Multicore Architectures
This is basically a CUDA-based BLAS/LAPACK implementation.
The cuda toolkit provides a drop-in version of BLAS, i.e.
libnvblas but it's source code is not available, and doesn't
have a full functionality. Compared to that, magma provides
complete functionality and source code.
