  Description     : Nektar++ spectral/hp element framework - libraries

 Nektar++ is a C++ framework for the development of computational solvers for
 partial differential equations based on the spectral/hp element method.
 .
 This package contains the libraries which implement the spectral/hp element
 discretisation and associated support classes. It provides a tensor-product
 based finite element implementation designed to seemlessly and efficiently
 construct both low-order h-type solvers, and high-order p-type solvers, for
 a wide range of partial differential equations.
 .
 It supports: the representation of one-, two- and three-dimensional fields as
 a collection of piecewise continuous or discontinuous polynomial domains;
 embedded domains; hybrid-shaped elements; hierarchical and nodal expansion
 bases; and continuous and discontinuous Galerkin operators.

I am one of the leaders of this project. We develop and use the software daily
and there is a growing world-wide user base in academia and industry. Unlike
other finite element packages, Nektar++ natively supports the use of high-order
finite element methods. Packaging will be maintained as part of the Nektar++
project.
