This will mostly work, although it could be problematic if a build system
special-cases one of the architectures where the GNU vocabulary and the
uname -m vocabulary differ: mips(64)el (DEB_HOST_GNU_CPU is mips(64)el,
uname -m is mips(64)), powerpc(64)(le) (DEB_HOST_GNU_CPU starts with
powerpc, uname -m starts with ppc) or arm* (DEB_HOST_GNU_CPU is arm,
uname -m is armv5qwertyjkl or something).
