The SHA1 removal shouldn't break stuff. (We keep MD5 and SHA256, with
MD5 for Jigdo).

The .gz removal still breaks more than anticipated, so they will stay
and get turned off after stretch got stable. Removing them is simply for
space, bandwidth and amount of files reason.
