I don't think that the average maintainer will pay attention to anything outside 
of tracker.debian.org.  So please could you work on integrating the cross build 
status into these status pages? Maybe differentiating into 'success, no success, 
regression (succeeded before)?

I assume that would require setting up one or two regular "cross buildds". maybe 
targeting a relevant 32bit and a 64bit architecture.
