It is not a service if you remove packages without replacement strategy.
I don’t care if I use the package iproute2 or vlan/ifenslave to configure VLAN interfaces and/or bonds as long as I have documentation how to do this in /etc/network/interfaces in an easy way.

The packages vlan and ifenslave are working very well.

That said I think it would be very cool if I could configure VLANs and bonds with the Debian installer.
