[sorry for the double email, messed up with the r-b list address...] Hi! As part of the Reproducible Builds effort [0] we added a "reproducible/timeless" feature area to dpkg which exports -Wdate-time via CPPFLAGS [1]. In our CI infrastructure we enabled that in Spring. We now think this is the right time to enable this flag by default. From our builds, we can only see 4 packages which fail to build due to this: subversion + unbound https://bugs.debian.org/790102 expeyes https://bugs.debian.org/790103 wsjt https://bugs.debian.org/804672 Following [2] we're now bringing this up on debian-devel@l.d.o to learn about for any known issues we may be not aware of, any concerns, etc. [0] https://wiki.debian.org/ReproducibleBuilds is there any chance you haven't yet heard from us? ;) Have you also seen https://reproducible-builds.org ? If not, go see it, it's awesome!
