Hi, is it intentional that gnome is removed when systemd is replaced by sysvinit-core? an apt-get install sysvinit-core sysvinit-utils on a fresh jessie removed most of the gnome desktop. I dont want systemd and i'd like to remove as much of the blob as possible. I thought systemd-shim + sysvinit-core/utils would be enough to make a usable system but it seems there is some dependency in jessie which makes gnome unavailable without systemd. Am i wrong?
