The problem manifests itself under gnome desktop but everything is fine at the login screen (most likely gdm3). This behavior is reproducible both using his built-in touchpad and external mouse. Stefan provided detailed description of the problem - it is attached to an earlier message (BugDescription.txt) along dmesg, lsusb and lspci outputs. He is using Dell Inspiron 15 7000 (with a non functional touchscreen, that may be the source of some strange dmesg messages) and he is running: xorg version: 1:7.7+3~deb7u1 gnome version: 1:3.4+7+deb7u1 Regards, T.
