The fact that fans are on may indicate that the issue happened when exiting suspend mode. Then this file will be filled for the next time but you won't be able to recover it. Normally you should find a /var/log/pm-*.log.1, these files are the ones you need to provide. Also it could be better if you try using the official Debian kernel, at least while we are investigating the issue.
