Apologies for the confusion, allow me to clarify, I was referring to
'mips' Octeon boards, either those were prototypes or failed QA, so
out of four boards send to ubcece:
 - One board was DOA
 - Two boards are really unreliable
 - One board is somehow stable
All of the above came with notes saying that eth0 was broken.

We do not want to repeat the same mistake for the mipsel port.

Yes, I found a Spark 3A 6100 at taobao site. I was planning to get one
for myself and check whether it can be worth it for Debian
infrastructure. So, I was wondering if you had experience with it and
if there is mainline supported kernel, bootloader, etc... in essence,
is it able to run buildd software with Debian software components
(doing minimal enablement)?

Does anybody have a URL for purchase of those Spark 6100 machines? I had a surf on taobao, but completely failed to find anything lemote or loongson.
I did check recently with the European distributor (tekmote) if they were going to sell the '3A mini-pc or desktop', and they said no :-(
