Silly me. I thought “universal” was meant about usage, like the ability
to run the same OS on a supercomputer, a toaster, a smartphone and a
space station.
I hadn’t understood it was about being able to run all the kernels in
the universe. This makes all more sense now. Thanks for fixing this
misunderstanding.
