on the bottom of my gnome session i can't click on the open application
all other functions work fine like:
change workspace
scrol over the taskbar to switch applications
the application switcher on top of the screen (near by the clock)

I'm sorry to hear this but for user support please try 
debian-user@lists.debian.org - millions of people have used squeezes gnome 
session without (these) problems.
