Won't work in wheezy, apt does not support crossgrades¹. Making it a
release goal for wheezy+1 seems to be a good idea, but it's a long way
to get there.

¹ Replacing foo:i386 with foo:amd64 is done by removing foo:i386 and
then installing foo:amd64, which does not work for Essential packages.
