debhelper >= 8.9.13 in compat 9 puts debug files into hash-based locations.


BTW, I set up another page to list "most wanted" not-yet-multiarchfied packages, i.e. packages which are neither MA:same nor MA:foreign, but are depended on by MA:same packages:
