If you remove them, they'll be recreated by the next upgrade; the right
way to disable an init script is to change the Snn links to K$((100 - nn)),
or in recent sysv-rc, "update-rc.d foo disable".
(I'm personally of the opinion that if experienced Debian developers
frequently get this wrong, we can't expect our users to get it right either...)
