Some systems have quite a small /boot partition, I've had some problems with a
server with this situation that resulted in being unable to perform a normal
upgrade of the kernel using apt-get, because nowdays kernels are larger than
the ones when the partition table was created.

I could upgrade the kernels anyway manually with some procedure, but no magic
can make a large kernel fit on a not large enough partition.

I think kernel's size should hence be taken into account as well.
